Following a comprehensive review approved by the Board and adopted at the AGM, we are updating our membership structure for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

Our goals are to simplify our systems and ensure 100% player membership compliance. Crucially, we also want to grow our community through non-playing memberships. Recently, we haven't been effective enough at reaching out to capture this support. We hope this simplified structure makes it much easier for parents, ex-players, and supporters to back the club.

Key Changes

• Moving to Spond: We are migrating all team administration and membership payments from Pitchero to Spond. Please note that Pitchero will remain the host for the club website next season.

• Why We Are Trialing Monthly Subscriptions: We are introducing a 12-month subscription trial for Micros, Wee Blues, and Youth sections. This modern, accessible payment structure is designed to match competing sports and allow easier access to rugby throughout the entire season. By lowering the barrier to entry, our goal is to attract new players, build our player base, and secure full age-grade pathways across the club.

• Streamlined Tiers & The Impact on Family Options: Moving to a direct, monthly subscription per player means we can no longer run a combined family membership option alongside it. To offset this change and keep the club accessible, we have intentionally reduced the entry cost for non-playing members. Traditional family and coaches memberships are being replaced by these simplified tiers. Coaches are a must for our club operations and can choose from any of the non-playing tiers listed below to register.

Phase-by-Phase Migration Timeline

We are moving to Spond in structured stages. The Wee Blues and Micros transition is already underway. For all other groups, please wait until your phase opens. You will receive direct communication with clear instructions and options when it is your turn.

Phase 1 – Wee Blues & Micros
In Progress. Moving to Spond monthly subscription (£6/mo Micros, £9/mo Wee Blues).

Phase 2 – Youths
Up Next. Move to Spond monthly subscription (£9/mo).

Phase 3 – Seniors
Upcoming. Move to Spond (£220 for the season, includes new kit bundle).

Phase 4 – Non-Members, Supporters & Coaches
Upcoming. Registration opens for our simplified non-playing tiers (see below).

New Non-Playing Membership Tiers

We encourage our fantastic network of parents, fans, and former players to formally support KRFC—and our coaches to complete their registrations—through one of our new tiers:

• Tier 1: Social Blue (£40 / year) – For casual fans, parents & coaches. Includes bar access and member event invitations (No AGM Voting).
25% concession discount available for students and over 65s.

• Tier 2: Full Blue (£140 / year) – For dedicated supporters & coaches. Includes international ticket ballot, AGM voting, 1st XV League Season Ticket, and Tier 1 perks.
25% concession discount available for students and over 65s.

• Tier 3: Gold Club (£300 / year) – The ultimate “True Blue” for supporters & coaches. Includes club lunches and all Tier 2 perks.

Note for Traditional Payers:
If you prefer to pay via cash, cheque, or bank transfer, simplified paper forms will be available during your phase.
