Once again, it was incredibly encouraging to see the number of players pulling on the blue jersey. Our recruitment efforts continue to bear fruit, with strong numbers across the section. The P7 squad is going from strength to strength, while both our P3 and P4 groups were able to field two teams each, giving even more children the opportunity to enjoy meaningful game time.

Most importantly, the progress being made by all age groups is clear to see. Skills that have been developed on the training pitch are now beginning to shine through in matches, with excellent teamwork, confidence on the ball and a growing understanding of the game evident throughout the morning. It has been an exceptional start to the season with a lot of Wins on the board and everyone involved should be proud of their efforts.

A huge thank you goes to all our coaches, volunteers and parents whose continued support makes these weekends possible. The spirit of rugby was on display once again, both on and off the pitch, and it is great to see the positive environment being created around the Wee Blues.

We would also like to thank Kinross RFC for their excellent hospitality. They were superb hosts and provided a fantastic setting for a morning of enjoyable and competitive rugby.

Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome Glenrothes RFC to Beveridge Park next weekend. While final numbers across the various age groups are still being confirmed, our aim remains the same: to provide as many opportunities for rugby as possible for every child who wants to play.

We look forward to another great morning of rugby and, just as importantly, another chance to showcase the warm welcome and hospitality that makes Kirkcaldy RFC such a special club.
