✨ A New Year Message from the President – George Shields ✨
As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what truly defines us as a club.
At Kirkcaldy RFC, respect, inclusion, and dignity are important values.
I want to take a moment to remind all members, players, volunteers, and supporters that how we conduct ourselves can reflect directly on our club. Under the SRU Code of Conduct and our own club values, we have a responsibility to ensure that our words and actions do not cause offence, exclusion, or harm to others.
Rugby is a game for everyone. Our club is, and must always be, a welcoming place for people of all backgrounds, identities, and communities. Even when opinions differ, respect must come first. Actions that undermine this principle do not align with who we are or what we stand for as Kirkcaldy RFC.
I ask everyone to reflect on this and to help us uphold the positive, inclusive culture that our club is proud of both on and off the pitch.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued commitment to the values of our club.
