Sunday was a very positive day for the Wee Blues, with competitive rugby on display across the age groups and some excellent results to show for the players’ efforts.
The Primary 3s ended up fielding two teams after Dunfermline didn’t turn up, and with a large squad available the Wee Blues were happy to step in and fill the gap. This provided plenty of game time and resulted in great, competitive rugby, with good wins over Watsonians, Stirling, Livingston and Perthshire.
The Primary 4s also had an impressive outing, finishing runners-up in their group, narrowly behind Currie, after a series of strong performances.
Likewise, the Primary 5s played excellent rugby throughout the day, once again finishing runners-up in their group and continuing their positive development.
The Primary 6s faced challenges with numbers but pulled together superbly, combining with a Glenrothes team. They battled their way to the final, where they were narrowly beaten by Perth, showing great resilience and teamwork.
The Primary 7s rounded off the day in style, producing excellent rugby and recording two great wins to complete a very successful Sunday for the club.
Well done to all the players, and thanks to the coaches and parents for their continued support.
