A challenging start to the cup campaign with the first round sadly turning into a white-out due to icy conditions, and the Colts match once again being called off this week.

This week, our U15/16s match took to place on the Field of Dreams “Bevy Park” in the 2nd round cup against a very big and physical Strathmore side. Blues started strongly and showed great intent early on, but as the game went on Strathmore’s size and fitness began to tell. Despite the tough challenge, the boys battled right to the end, with the match finishing 17–47 Strathmore. Plenty of positives to take forward ?????

Making their first appearance of 2026, our U13/14s competed in the Caledonia Culblean Challenge, joined by Blairgowrie, Kinross and Carnoustie. The format saw each team play one another in 3 x 20-minute matches, with this week’s festival hosted by Blairgowrie.

The lads in BLUE represented the club superbly, playing some excellent rugby across all three games. While the focus was on development and performance rather than results, the scores reflected their hard work and teamwork:

✅ Blairgowrie 7–21
