Kirkcaldy U13s got off to a flying start against Falkirk with a powerful run from Cole G, who not only crossed the line but also converted his own try. Momentum stayed with Kirkcaldy as they swiftly regained possession from the kickoff, and after a brilliant 50m dash, full-back TJ B bagged their second try, once again converted by Cole G, giving them a 14-0 lead.
Despite some scrappy play and missed tackles from both sides, Kirkcaldy's Max L seized an opportunity out on the wing to score the third try, with Cole G continuing his kicking form to bring the score to 21-0. However, as the first half wore on, Kirkcaldy eased off the pressure, allowing Falkirk to capitalise on missed tackles and score three tries of their own. Fortunately for Kirkcaldy, none were converted, leaving them 21-15 ahead at halftime.
In the second half, Kirkcaldy came out rejuvenated, with man-of-the-match James D making crucial tackles and linking up superbly with Andrew C and Callan H. Harding then stormed through for Kirkcaldy’s fourth try, once again converted by Cole G, extending the lead to 28-15. Despite Falkirk’s brave defending, Kirkcaldy's relentless attack saw Max L score his second try of the game, with Cole converting to cap off a flawless kicking display. Both teams battled hard.

The Kirkcaldy U14s delivered their most dominant performance of the season, storming to a 48-0 victory over Falkirk. From the first whistle, Kirkcaldy showed exceptional focus and determination, setting the tone with solid defence and relentless pressure at the breakdown. Their defence was impenetrable, giving Falkirk no room to maneuver.
Kirkcaldy’s offence was equally impressive, working the ball skillfully across the pitch and driving hard through the middle, stretching Falkirk’s defense. Michael was named player of the day, with Tanar earning the KYD’s ? for his outstanding work at the breakdown. The U14s’ comprehensive team effort ensured the win.
