Blues Youth U14 Shine in First Half but Fall to Dundee in Tough Battle
In a match that was far more thrilling than the final scoreline suggests, The Blues Youth fell 59-21 to a strong Dundee side. The Blues came out swinging, matching Dundee stride-for-stride and only trailing 28-21 at halftime. It was a performance that pleased the coaches, with the team showing grit, determination, and flashes of brilliance.
Dundee's wingers caused trouble throughout the match, using their speed and precision to stretch the Blues' defence. Despite this, the Blues held their own in the first half, refusing to back down from the challenge. However, the second half told a different story Dundee continued to gain the upper hand and took control of the game.
Though the scoreline doesn't reflect the effort, the Blues showed real promise, especially in the opening 30 minutes. If they can capture that first-half fire for a full 60 minutes, there’s no telling how far this team can go.
